Scotland

Scotland is a country in the Western European Isles, which shares it's border with Britannia.

Government

• The Lowlands, where Scots is spoken
• The Highlands, where Gaelic is spoken
• The Islands, where Norn is spoken
• Edinburgh, the capital, where all 3 are spoken.

All 4 areas have their own government and are mostly autonomous, with the Edinburgh government having the most power.

History with England

Scotland and England have been in many wars, usually starting with England trying to invade Scotland or annex them. They've been in over 1000 wars since the 14th century.

History with Ireland, Fraunce and Norway

In 1290, 4 years after the death o fKeeng Alexander III, the next heir to the throne was Queen Margaret, who was 7 at the time, coming from Norway. After a boat ride that nearly killed her, she safely arrived to Scotland to take the throne. This succession caused Scotland and Norway to form a close alliance.

In the years that followed, England had made several attempts to annex Scotland and Ireland, and was in a war with France. Scotland had agreed to an alliance with both countries to fight the English, succeeding in keeping them back.

Republicanism

In 1790, followin the French revolution, Scotland had it's own revolution that overthrew King William III to form a Republic, aligning with Fraunce in a continent that was, at the time, filled with Monarchies. Due to close ties, Norway and Ireland soon followed suit, forming the Auld Alliance, with many countries joining this alliance of Republics over time, most notably the former-English colony: The United States of America.

The Republics is up against the Monarchs an the Communists, promoting the belief of democracy and everyday people having a say in who rules their country.

It hasn't stopped England from trying again and again to take Scotland, the SSS are here to stop them from succeeding.
